1 March, Thursday - Day 58 - camp at Halali in Etosha

After yesterday’s « Giraffenland », we are now surrounded by zebras.  By the hundreds.

And my abolute favorites, le gnou or Wildebeest .

The very few acacia trees or thornbushes are covered with bird nests, usually Social Weaver Bird nests.

We have not yet seen any cats.

But herds of impalas very close to the road and absolutely fearless.

Through rain and  mud to Halali on the southside of Etosha.

We had to wait for the rain to stop before setting up our camp.   Tomorrow we are to sleep in a real bed - I cannot wait.
