The dust road D2512 is in excellent state. Bur if it rains, it will turn into a red river.
Some people have more problems than others......
Jens at the grill -
- whilst Bente and Hans prepare mustard cream sauce - and I am sundancing. The dancing didn’t help. It rained all night.
The Plateau de Waterberg is some 1885 m above sea level. In 1904 Waterberg was the scene of the battle between the German Colonial Forces and the Herero Resistance. The Hereros lost. The few survivers were chased into the desert, where they perished from thirst and hunger. This was not a Genocide as one may think. The Herero chiefs had sold the land to the Germans. When the money had been spent, the Hereros having nothing left, revolted against the Germans to get their land back.
